Todaiji Temple

The Toji Temple or the temple of the father of Nara. A measure that can be traced back over a thousand years. It is recorded that it was founded in the Nara period. Or around 710-794. The Nara city is also the capital of Japan before moving to Heianki (Kyoto) in the next.
The building is currently seen. It was completely rebuilt in the great reconstruction of 1709 or about three hundred years ago. It is the largest wooden building in the world and has long been a record breaking record for modern wooden buildings in 1998.
Big Buddha Or Dai Betsu inside this building. It weighs over 500 tons.
