Suijiji Temple is located in Miyagi Prefecture. Founded in 828, the building was recently renovated in 1609 as the famous Zen temple in the Tohoku region. The interior consists of a main tower and a kitchen. Both of these have been registered as a national cultural treasure. Opposite to Kuri's Kitchen is the site of the Suijian Museum of Art.
